Braden Rueter, Undergraduate Researcher

I am a sophomore at WashU majoring in Biology and Applied Mathematics. I am fascinated by the brain’s power as an information machine and its capacity to embody robustly mathematical phenomena in its function. I am interested in the application of neural criticality to problems involving cognition and seizures, hoping to provide insight into the relationship between temporal brain dynamics and fundamental neural processes.

Outside of the lab, I love trail running, playing guitar in my band, and reading great pieces of literature.
