EMILY SHEN, UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER, DEPT. OF BIOLOGY

I am a senior majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Bioinformatics. I am interested in discovering the underlying order and complex networking of neurons through computational analyses. In the lab, I work with my mentor to explore functional connectivity between visual cortex neurons to inform our understanding of criticality.

Outside of the lab, I enjoy dancing, playing guitar and piano, photography, and traveling!
