JOHN GRADY, POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

People call me the bad boy of paleobotany. I mean, I don't know, but I'll take it

I am a postdoc fellow in the Living Earth Collaborative Center at Washington University. My background is in ecology – I’m interested in how differences in metabolism and thermoregulation shape species interactions and patterns of diversity. E.g., mammals vs reptiles. I’m working with the Hengen lab to study predator-prey interactions between warm-blooded mice and cold-blooded insects at the behavioral and neurological level.

In my free time, I play competitive badminton.
