LEANDRO FOSQUE,

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW (CTCN FELLOW)

My main interest is the study of phase transitions and critical phenomena in brain dynamics. During my graduate years I worked on computational simulations and experiments involving organotypic cultures to test predictions from the quasicritical hypothesis, a novel framework for brain dynamics. At Hengen's lab I hope to apply the concepts and techniques I bring from physics to further the understanding of homeostatic mechanisms involved in sleep/wake states.

I like to play guitar, mainly Argentine folk and tango, but also bluegrass. Also, I love training martial arts, camping, and cooking.
