MARY LAMBO, PHD

Iā€™m a Senior Scientist in the Hengen Lab where I investigate experience-dependent plasticity mechanisms in visual and somatosensory cortices. To study these phenomena, I use slice electrophysiology to probe synaptic and intrinsic neuronal properties in response to sensory manipulation. In addition to mentoring students in the Hengen Lab, I spend the academic year as a Senior Lecturer at Wash U, teaching several undergraduate neuroscience classes.

I love being outside, traveling, biking, rocking climbing, and spending time with my family.
