TIETCHAN DANG, UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER, DEPT. OF PSYCHOLOGY

I am a Junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Math and Writing. I find it interesting how the brain is responsible for such a wide variety of functions and how it is able to adapt as new information is presented. In lab, I am exploring how synaptic scaling affects neuronal firing rate homeostasis in the primary visual cortex and whether or not synaptic scaling is necessary.

In my free time, I enjoying walking, dancing, and playing video games.
