VICTORIA CHEN, LAB TECHNICIAN

I’m a gap-year research technician in the Dougherty (WUSTL Genetics) and Culver (WUSTL Radiology) labs. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Neuroscience. In my undergrad research, I characterized mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorder using optical neuroimaging and behavioral testings. Currently, I’m investigating how the MYT1L mutation disrupts eperience-dependent plasticity using calcium imaging, slice electrophysiology and RNAseq.

Outside of lab, I enjoy traveling, cooking, watching Netflix and spending time with my two cats and friends.
