ZACH BERRIMAN-ROZEN, LAB TECHNICIAN

I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Applied Mathematics and Neuroscience and a minor in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. My former lab at CU researched optical electrophysiology, specifically membranous Ca2+ dynamics in E. coli, which first inspired my interest in physiology and systems biology. I recently joined the Hengen lab as a research technician to investigate the mechanisms of self-organization and critical dynamics from nucleus to nervous system and better understand how malfunctions in those processes are translated as pathologies and disease.

Outside of the lab I enjoy cooking, watching TV, exploring St. Louis, and reading cookbooks and sci-fi.
