CHARLES DUMOULIN, UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER
I am a Junior double majoring in Biology on the Neuroscience track and PNP. I love everything in neuroscience related to consciousness, memory, and neural circuitry. I am also very interested in the intersection of AI and neuroscience.
In the lab, I work on developing models of neural circuits that exhibit criticality and give us insight into how actual neural circuits behave. Working in the Hengen lab has made me learn a breadth of skills related to neuroscience research I never thought I would gain so early on: while my role in the lab is heavily computational, I was also able to learn some in vivo experimental procedures and even some hardware engineering.
Outside of the lab, I love swimming, biking, going to rock concerts, and going on fun outings with friends.
